Issue 50...out now!

Stay gold

The corn had already turned a rich late-summer gold when we turned up at Nash Point Lighthouse last month, trailing tulle and tiaras for our first Cardiff Life wedding shoot. The sky, on the other hand, was a rather ominous grey – in Wales in July, what were the odds? – but thanks to photographer Mei Lewis, this just ended up adding extra drama (see page 16). And to channel Stacey, the little bridesmaids were lush . . .
Oh, and speaking of all things gold, this is our 50th issue! To celebrate, we’ve come up with 50 of the things we most like about living in Cardiff – turn to page 29 for our multi-sensory guide to the capital. In other news, Ben takes a look around two of Cardiff’s most exciting new art galleries (page 52); and since we’re still giggling from the Cardiff Comedy Fest (anyone else go to the gala evening?) we decided to ask comedian Chris Corcoran to tell us about his Cardiff life (page 98).

Hope you enjoy this rather special issue!

Hwyl,
